Standard Remisier Agreement

A remisier (also known as a trader`s representative) is an agent of a stock brokerage firm and receives a commission for each trade (compared to a paid trading agent who is a direct agent of a stock brokerage firm and whose compensation structure is based on a fixed monthly salary). Although the origin of the French word is (“remisier”) means “an intermediary”, and although remisiers are still a feature of the Paris Stock Exchange, the term is now the most widely used in the context of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (or Bursa Malaysia) and the Singapore Stock Exchange.
